Return Merchandise Number (RMA) Request Procedure

The following procedures are necessary in obtaining RMA number for product(s) being returned:

  1. It is ACP Marketing Inc. ("ACP" hereafter)'s best interest to provide the best quality products to our customers, however in the situation where product(s) need to be returned, the RMA number application is necessary to facilitate such an action.

  2. All returns to ACP must obtain an RMA number. This is done by filling out all the information on the RMA form and by faxing it back to ACP. Incomplete RMA form would result in delaying of issuance of the RMA number.

  3. ACP reserves the right to replace, repair, or exchange for the returned items (re-stock items would be subjected to an industry standard 20% re-stocking charge).

  4. All items damaged in transport, if shipped courier collect, would be the customer's responsibility to claim damage from the shipping courier. All goods left ACP's warehouse are considered as F.O.B.

  5. All goods being returned must be in protecting packaging to prevent possible damage in return shipment. All items have to be in as-new condition with all parts included such as jumpers, cables, documentation, and no marking (including RMA umber) to be on anywhere of the product or the original packaging box.

  6. When shipping the product(s) back, be sure the followings are included:

    1. the RMA number on the RMA form (a faxed-back copy would be acceptable)

    2. the goods being returned

    3. a copy of the invoice

    4. and supporting documents such as any faulty printouts, test reports, etc. as specified in the special instructions section of the RMA form. If a copy of the original invoice is not included, an industry standard $25 search fee would be charged to locate such a document.

  7. All shipment back to ACP have to be freight PREPAID using courier of customer's choice. All collect shipments and/or items not listed in RMA form would be rejected by ACP, and shipped back to customer collect.

  8. RMA number, once issued, would only be valid for 30 days for it to arrive back to ACP's Receiving. After this period, the return would not be accepted in ACP's Receiving department. In such situation, another application would be necessary to obtain a new RMA number for returning the goods back to ACP.

  9. Only 1 shipment per RMA number, an additional number must be obtained for other remaining items.

  10. A $50 per hour labour rate for testing would be charged to customer if the claimed defective goods are found NOT defective. ACP wishes the customer to fully investigate the defective problem before claiming defective status.

Thank You
